1983 Middle Georgia Coin Club Wooden Dollar Token 25th Anniversary Macon GA

This authorized exonumia release from the Middle Georgia Coin Club commemorates the organization's Twenty-Fifth Anniversary and Twenty-First Annual Coin Show held at the Macon Coliseum in Macon, Georgia. Originating from a historic boom era of local numismatic club commemoratives and regional trade token issues, this wooden dollar piece features dual-sided stamped graphics representing iconic state symbols. The obverse displays the Georgia state bird, the Brown Thrasher, rendered in bold black typography and illustration, while the reverse features the Georgia state flower, the Cherokee Rose, stamped in contrasting red ink alongside meeting schedules and venue details. Produced in limited promotional quantities for regional show attendees and club members, this piece serves as a nostalgic crossover collectible bridging Southern regional history, exonumia, and classic numismatic ephemera.
