1992 SkyBox Doomsday: The Death of Superman Hobby Sealed Box 36 Packs

The 1992 SkyBox Doomsday: The Death of Superman trading card release captures one of the most monumental crossover storylines in comic book publishing history, chronologically recounting the apocalyptic confrontation between the Man of Steel and the unstoppable monster Doomsday across Metropolis. Produced during the nostalgic era of comic card collecting, this unopened hobby box contains 36 factory-sealed distribution packs, each holding 8 trading cards. The base checklist spans 100 story cards, featuring artwork directly from legendary DC Comics creative teams including Dan Jurgens, Brett Breeding, Tom Grummett, Doug Hazlewood, Jon Bogdanove, and Louise Simonson, tracing the destructive path through the Justice League of America, the devastating final showdown, and the poignant "Funeral for a Friend" epilogue cards. Unopened hobby packs offer the thrill of unboxing hobby-exclusive chase inserts, including randomly inserted Spectra-Etch motion cards (featuring the iconic Metropolis mourning scenes) and the elusive two-card Bleeding "S" foil puzzle inserts (SP1 and SP2) that join together to form the blood-stained Superman shield emblem. As a sealed wholesale distribution box, the packs remain untouched and unsearched, preserving original factory distribution odds for key story highlights and insert pulls.
