1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar Denver Mint The 1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar holds a unique place in numismatic history as the only year the Morgan design was struck at the Denver Mint. Following the Pittman Act of 1918, which resulted in the melting of millions of silver dollars, the series was briefly resurrected in 1921 before the transition to the Peace Dollar. This specimen features the "D" mint mark on the reverse, positioned above the "DO" in DOLLAR. Composed of 90% silver ($0.77344$ oz ASW), the coin's value is heavily underpinned by the current 2026 silver market. In mid-grade circulated condition (VF/XF), the coin exhibits clear design details with moderate wear on the high points of Liberty’s hair and the eagle’s wings. Technical specifications include a 38.1mm diameter and a 26.73g weight. Please see photos for a better look at the surface preservation and any natural toning.
