• Why It’s Special: This note features the "Obligation" clause at the bottom left: "This certifies that there is on deposit in the Treasury of the United States of America Ten Dollars in Silver Payable to the Bearer on Demand." This is a "Small Size" note, but it retains the classic design elements from the mid-century.
