Cast using Harmony Kingdom's signature crushed marble resin composite, the exterior sculpture captures a detailed opossum perched over a hollowed log, with artist Peter Calvesbert's signature hidden mouse peeking out from inside the branch. The sculpture incorporates intricate secret carvings along the opossum's neck, including "13ULS" (referencing 13 unlucky for some), "KG" encircled to honor House of Lords dealer Karen Gilbert, "Sep.01" noting the model carving date, and "PF" representing "Pete's Favourite." The interior compartment opens to reveal an opossum's head surrounded by sweet potatoes, inspired by historical recipes researched by the artist. This piece is personally hand-signed by artist Peter Calvesbert.
